History
The Berndrews Affix was granted in 1972 however, my grandmother Mrs. Margaret Brannigan actually got her first boxer in 1968 from the late Joan Jarden (Erijos). Erijos Overcoat was sired by Erijos Heirapparent who's pedgiree went back to the American Import Rainey-Lanes Sirrocco on the sire's side and Ch Wardrobes Wildmink on the dam's side. Bruce as he was named was gran's first show dog and she did extremely well with him at Open, Obedience and Championship shows. Erijos Thunderbolt continued the family tradition by winning Best In Show All Breeds at Queens Island Championship Show in the early 1970's.
Silverstein Simon D Of Berndrews was another addition to Berndrews in the early 80's. Simon was a fantastic boxer and producer. Siring numerous Ir Ch's namely Billy Cooper's two half brothers Glentara Rambler and Glentara Stroller. But most interestingly of all, Simon was three quarter Dutch and at the time was the only boxer of such breeding.
Below are just some of the sires & dams who have made an influence on Berndrews Boxers

He lived a long and productive life of 13 years and sired some 35 champions.
